Benjamin Lee, M.Sc.
Athlete and Engineer
Ben is a research scientist and engineer turned personal trainer located in Toronto, ON. His lifelong passion for fitness and sport only intensified during his BASc in Mechanical Engineering when he discovered the same principles of statics and dynamics directly apply to physical training: all human performance boils down to physics!
This inspired Ben to earn a Masters degree in Biomechanics supervised by Dr. Stuart McGill, the world's leading expert in spine biomechanics. Ben's research on the assessment and exercise prescription of low back injury rehab/prevention has been published in numerous scientific journals, textbook chapters and professional lectures.
Prior to becoming a personal trainer, Ben spent 10+ years in the health & fitness-tech industry including roles as Co-Founder/Chief Scientific Officer of his own VC-backed startup. Ben architected and developed the user experiece of proprietary AI tools to measure, analyze, and build exercise programs for musculoskeletal health.
Nowadays Ben uses expertise to directly help clients effectively move and feel better at work, play and life.
